Designed specifically for high-volume agricultural logistics, this Jamieson A-Double Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker combination delivers maximum productivity and compliance when carting Flexi-N liquid nitrogen fertiliser.
Comprising a 25,000L lead trailer and a 30,000L tag trailer, this A-Double (road-train) set is engineered for long-haul efficiency and dependable performance in demanding rural and regional operations. The polished stainless steel barrels provide excellent corrosion resistance, long service life and simplified cleaning between loads, making the combination ideally suited to dedicated fertiliser fleets operating under HML/PBS conditions.
The estimated combination tare (product SG 1.25) of approximately 29.5t (including tri-axle dolly and prime mover) and 94.5t total GCM provides exceptional payload efficiency for Flexi-N transport. Overall length and axle spacing are configured to remain within the 27.5 m road-train envelope, with weight distribution designed to suit HML axle group limits across steer, drive and trailer groups.
Both tankers are built on the robust Jamieson chassis and equipped with SAF-Holland axle groups on air suspension, delivering a smooth, controlled ride that helps minimise product surge and reduces stress on the barrel and chassis over long distances. Full disc brake systems provide strong, consistent braking performance and improved heat management compared with drum alternatives -particularly valuable in high-mass, long-haul fertiliser operations.
